At the moment Adelaide is experiencing its longest heatwave ever. We already had 12 consecutive days of 35 degrees or more and at least another 4 days of 35+ are expected. Bad news for the everlasting drought (in contrast to some Eastern parts of Australia that keep flooding) and hard work for the firefighters.
